Emily has developed numerous strategies and techniques to learn more efficiently and effectively throughout her academic career. Her kind, open-minded and empathetic approach to working with people allows her to understand the unique learning needs each individual possesses. Through Emily’s experience working with youth in both academic and recreational settings, she has developed an appreciation for the diverse needs children and their parents require. She enjoys helping students discover and implement skills that will allow them to approach their studies in a way that instills both confidence, and optimism.
Emily graduated from the University of Victoria in April 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She plans to continue her studies, and is in the process of applying to the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Adler University.
When Emily is not working at Dr. Robert’s office, she volunteers her time with seniors in Oak Bay, enjoys exploring new beaches, doing crossword puzzles and cozying up with her cats.
