Specializations: Adults and youth experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and behavioural challenges. Serena has experience working with individuals who are neurodiverse (Autism, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities). When deemed appropriate, will work with parents and families to further support these individuals.
Treatment to alleviate what problems: Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Addictions, Grief, Anger Management, Behavioural Issues, Divorce, and Mood Disorders.
Serena is a Certified Clinical Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. With over a decade of experience, Serena has worked as a counsellor, behavioural consultant, mental health clinician and educator. She works to encourage growth and healing for her clients by offering a safe space to explore different strategies and solutions. Serena always takes the time to tailor the therapy sessions to meet the specific needs of the client.
Serena is a graduate of Adler University with a MA in Counselling Psychology and has a BA from the University of British Columbia.
Serena enjoys running, paddle boarding, gardening and spending time with family. When given the choice, you will find her curled up on the couch watching a movie or reading a good book. One day she hopes to spend some time in France getting the opportunity to use her French.
